Why ?, Sadact is not just chairman of kettrin he is also a business man and just maybe he was meeting fellow business people regarding his medical (Locum) company or any other business interests he has in one of our various rooms for hire in the conference center.

I don't think Sadact is actually shackled to Rockinghorse Road or Kettrin 24 hours a day you know.

He also has his own offices a short drive away in Milton Keynes I am sure that is where he conducts his business!

I can see it now. Ladick on his knees banging on KC's office door shouting "Please Mr Cousins, let us come and merge with Rushden, I'm desperate! I've no idea how to run a football club properly, and you seem to be doing a really good job on limited resources. Pleeeeease!" while KC simply sighs, picks up the phone and calls security.

Mat - rather than panicking over this, I suggest you read this thread - post16599.html#p16599 - where this issue was discussed, and the fact that KTFC weren't even allowed to use the Nene Park facilities to train before the Leeds game is revealed.

Perhaps it's also worth reflecting on the fact that in the business world any merger talks are usually held in secret at on off-site location anyway.

Business people do have meetings at other premises you know and there are businesses next door in the old Griggs premises.

Exactly, Nene Park the perfect off-site location for Sadact to discuss a merger with Corby Town

Now thinking it through more why would Sadact be at Nene Park.

Kettrin Town need a new stadium by 2012 and his deal with ASDA seems dead in the water so a new deal and partner or partners need to be found.

Nene Park hosts another company with strong links with Kettrin, FootballCV and the current deal to use our facilities ends 2012.

Now it is quite possible that Sadact is trying to get FootballCV to join forces and maybe get other partners to try and solve his problem.

This is far more realistic than merger talks with us in my opinion.

Have they much evidence for it because I definitely don't recall seeing Sadact last week at NP, I think it's b*llocks, I did actually see one of the people that a ploppy fan guessed on that thread but it wasn't Sadact.

What you must remember is Sadact and KC are businessmen and have no "ties" to there respective clubs in the way Max had with RDFC and Nene Park.

KC has put circa. £1.5 million in to RDFC in the last few years, he is going to want some return on this investment, either by selling the club, in the future for a profit. Using the clubs land to build a hotel that will return some investment to him (he owns the club and the land as he is the only member of the original RDFC trust). He see's some return on the sale of Tomlin or the sell on fee for Jackson. Yes KC supports the club, probably saved the club, but did he do it because he loved the club i.e. like Max, or did he do it because he saw a possible return on his investment, all be it over the longer term. KC hasn't had many investments outside the club go belly up, I don't expect he will "expect" to lose money this time round!

Don't get me wrong I think KC has been good for RDFC, but as he said at his very first Fans Forum, "he's no Max" and I think he meant that both financially and with regard to loyalty....
